Take on the most daring drivers and become the following Asphalt Legend in this new arcade racing activity. In Asphalt 9: Legends, players will be able to take the wheel of over 50 prestigious fantasy cars across the most excellent real-world locations. Asphalt 9: Legends is a racing video game produced by Gameloft Barcelona and distributed by Gameloft. Delivered on July 25, 2018, it is the ninth main installment in the Asphalt series. Several new and enhanced features are associated with previous entries, such as a prestigious car lineup, different control plans, including the autopilot method called Touch Drive, race modes, and the reimplemented “shockwave nitro” from Asphalt 6: Adrenaline. The graphics are viewed as significantly upgraded related to its 2013 predecessor, Asphalt 8: Airborne. There are currently 123 cars as of the February 2021 update. Like its antecedent, each of the vehicles relates to a class progressively featuring higher appearance and rarity: D, C, B, A, and S. The player begins with a car in the lowest rank (Class D), the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. All vehicles in the game now need “blueprints” to unlock and then consequently “star up,” with each of them having anywhere from 3 to 6 stars. The car’s display capability is increased (at the cost of a lesser fuel tank volume).
One section where Asphalt 9 deviates from past entries is the rate at which you earn new cars. In time with the game, we found ourselves improving our current vehicles’ properties and using them more often than shifting between multiple drives unless the race called for a specific car type. This is because accumulating new cars is less familiar. You don’t get them as a bonus for finishing an event. Alternatively, you get a blueprint — a part for a new car. Acquiring new vehicles depends on the number of blueprints you gain within races and via card packs — the game’s take on loot boxes — that are possible as in-app purchases. You can also earn card packs by performing a set of events or watching ads.
