In India, Realme is planning to launch a new smartphone called Realme Race. It can now be released as the Realme GT series, according to a tipster. For the same cause, we are still having a variety of leaks and rumors online. Nevertheless, until now, there was no proof of the official phone moniker.
It was believed that this smartphone was Realme Race, which may be another name for the Realme GT. According to the tipster, the upcoming smartphone series will be introduced as the Realme GT series. Renowned tipster Mukul Sharma posted a picture of the Realme GT moniker trademark application. It means that the smartphone will soon be released in India.
As per another tipster, Realme GT, aka Realme Race, was spotted earlier this week on the Indian Standards (BIS) website. The smartphone will, however, be released in China before making its debut in India. The Realme smartphone was visible in photos visible on its TENAA listing spotted earlier and a ‘GT’ branding towards the bottom.
A rectangular camera visible at the back of the phone is also seen in the pictures. But the camera sensors are not visual. However, the phone with a triple rear camera configuration displays a rendering of the Realme Race that had appeared online in December 2020. The photos indicate that a blue color version may be provided for the smartphone.
Realme has announced that ‘Race’ will be part of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC smartphone sequence. The company said the smartphone would be launched in India in 2021. In the past, the smartphone codenamed ‘Race’ also appeared on the Eurasian Economic Commission (ECC). With Realme UI 2.0 on top, it is tipped to run on Android 11 out of the box. Besides, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage could come with it.
